The Undertaker Retiring at Wrestlemania? How Could The WWE Fill-Out That Void?
Hello fellow Bleachers, do you think that after nearly 20 years of wrestling, the Undertaker would probably retire at Wrestlemania?
Now it seems more logical if we were to hear that the undertaker is retiring, and as a wrestling fan for the past 16 years, I am pretty certain that the undertaker leaving would leave a huge void not only in Smackdown, but the whole WWE roster.
So how can the WWE fill out that void, and that’s if they even can.
Now that Wrestlemania is 6 months away people have been wondering about who would the undertaker face, will the steak be broken, or will he retire with a perfect undefeated streak?
Now if we were to make assumptions about who is he going to face if he is going to win then names like Jericho, John Morrison, Wade Barrett, Christian, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, and Others would come to mind.
But if we ask ourselves about who could break the undefeated streak then we would think of guys like John Cena, Randy Orton, Triple H, Kane, or even a hopeful possible return of guys like The Rock, Steve Austin, or even Mr. Wrestlemania himself Shawn Michaels.
But what if we think outside the box? Not somebody in the WWE roster, or even in TNA or ROH. What if the WWE would introduce a new guy to the whole dark side persona?
I remember when I used to talk about the necessity of introducing a guy who could make the Undertaker character live forever, the Undertakers’ son.
Now it sounds a bit childish but we all know that with the undertaker leaving it could leave out a gap in the WWE roster that could not be filled, but with the right storyline and with the right guy for the part it could be exciting and even explosive.
Now just imagine it! The Undertaker and Kane both claiming to be the devils’ favorite demon, then this other guy comes out, nobody knows who he is but he looks big and scary.
Both Kane and Taker look threatened by this guy and with the right follow up and explanation this could lead to Wrestlemania with a Triple Threat match, The Undertaker vs. Kane vs. Takers’ son.
And if this guy wins not only would he be known as the one who broke the streak, but as the Undertakers’ son who is even more evil than his father.
Please leave your comments and give your opinion about if this could work.
