New York Giants Embarrass Themselves In a 19-Point Loss to The Tennessee Titans

Hey everybody. John Borgolini here. I'll be taking you through the Week 3 game between the Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants. This time I will finish it, as I'm pretty sure I won't have keyboard issues this week.
The Giants head into this game after an awful showing against the Indianapolis Colts, where their dominating defense from week one disappeared, especially the thought to be impressive run defense.
The Titans enter the game with some worries themselves in the quarterback position as head coach Jeff Fisher made the questionable decision to sit Vince Young for the final quarter of the team's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. One thing that is for sure is that the Giants are going to be busy all game trying to stop Chris Johnson.
Feel free to comment and I'll respond.
FINAL SCORE: TITANS - 29; GIANTS - 10
Thank you for following the blog.
That's the effort I'm talking about. Steve Smith laying out for a great catch.
It looks like the Giants will get the ball back. They can at least show effort on this drive.
I said it after the first game. The Panthers game wasn't a true showing of the Giants. This could be a long season, especially if the drops and lack of discipline keeps up.
Giants turn it over on downs on what is possibly their last offensive play.
Boss is still giving effort despite this deficit. That's why we let Shockey go. No way he would be trying right now.
CJ with an 8-yard touchdown run on his 32nd carry. Very misleading stats. All from this last drive. The Giants beat themselves today.
Jacobs throwing his helmet in the crowd last week and now this awful performance. Coughlin is out at the end of the year. Maybe Spagnuolo will be available.
Chris Johnson finally with the big run. That will make his stats very misleading. The Giants were done on that play. They looked very lethargic. They didn't seem to be trying. And another personal foul, this time by Rolle.
Manning overthrows his receiver on fourth down. There's almost no chance the Giants can win now down by 12 with only 5:56 left.
Titans keep bringing pressure hurrying the throw. McKenzie with another stupid penalty. He shoved the guy on the ground down after the play was over. Shawn Andrews in.
Manning throws to Nicks on a hurried throw leading Nicks out of bounds.
There's Boss over the middle again. I don't like how they aren't using Beckum at all because of Boss' presence. He's got a lot of talent.
Eli with a terrible pass two plays later. Manningham was covered by two guys.
Giants start the drive neeeding two touchdowns to win. Manning hits Smith for the first down on the first play.
Bironas makes the extra-point length field goal.
Titans up 22-10. Ahmad Hall did catch that ball by the way.
They get it with a lucky drop by the fullback. It looked like a catch during the play.
3rd and Goal for the Titans. Big down coming up for the Giants. They NEED a stop.
Announcers just said Phillips is fine. Good news. He has so much potential. Back on the field.
The Giants have Goff and Boley in at LB and Javon Ringer witha big 15-yard + gain. Why was Goff in there over Bulluck?
KENNY PHILLIPS DOWN ON THE FIELD. We know about his knee problems. Hopefully this is something different and minor.
Johnson just had a really good run. Great cutback but stopped by the Giants.
Another receiver open downfield. Lucky for the Giants Young missed him.
Tynes with a 43-yard attempt after another stupid penalty (delay of game). And it's missed. Again, Tynes isn't a good kicker. The Giants add to it with an unnecessary roughness penalty. Awful discipline today. If Coughlin's performance last week wasn't enough, this should certainly put him on the hot seat. He was lucky that Spagnuolo won him a Super Bowl.
Nicks with good after the catch moves. The only thing is that he had that Plaxico one-handed run down the field.
Absolutely beautiful pass and catch with the Mannings (Manning and Manningham). Manningham with a one-handed catch just past the diving defender.
