Cleveland Browns Vs. Baltimore Ravens Live Blog: Peyton Hillis Runs 144 Yards
That's assuming Cribbs plays since he reportedly suffered an injury in practice Friday. The Browns injury list continues to grow with Brian Robiskie reportedly out and D'Qwell Jackson now on the injured reserve list.
I'll be updating the game with analysis and commentary and breaking news I can gather.
If you have any thoughts before or during the game, please feel free to leave them in the comments below.
I'll be back before the game starts, so we'll see you then!
Here's some postgame analysis on the Cleveland Browns vs. Baltimore Ravens contest.
And that's the ballgame folks. Another Browns loss and I'm numb. I'll have a postgame story in a little bit. Thanks for reading, everybody!!
Another costly penalty by Matt Roth, and that's probably the game. A third down penalty gives the Ravens first down and the victory formation is out.
Unless there's a miracle, the Browns are on their way to an 0-3 record. I'm having a hard time getting upset about it because there's nothing surprising about it. That's how low expectations were going into this game.
That was T.J. Who's Your Momma on the last reception. Like it matters.
Ravens are continuing to run out the clock with 3rd adn three from thier own 27. But Wright once again can't cover his assignment and it's first down Ravens
Seneca to Hillis for a short gain, it's 3rd and 2, Hillis trots off the field. Seneca goes deep but the ball doesn't land anywhere near the field, soaring over Cribbs' head.
Billy Cundiff in for the field goal, making it 24-17. Not sure if it matters, though.
Great defense by Ward, breaking up the pass in the end zone. Wright would've let that ball get caught.
The Ravens now are running the clock down with a ball-control approach, but they're already inside the Browns 30, so scoring again isn't out of the question.
On third and 28, Wallace threw it away, it's better than taking the safety. Ravens ball on the Browns 45.
The Browns continue to find new ways to look bad as a bad snap results in the Browns being pinned at their own 2 yard line now. It's getting pretty grim on that field, but the sad thing is there's nothing surprising about it.
FYI: I've tried fixing the picture at the top of this blog, but nothing's happening, so that's it on that.
I don't know what's more frustrating at this point, Wright continually blowing coverage on Boldin, or the fact the coaching staff keeps ALLOWING Wright to blow coverage on Boldin.
Third and five for the Ravens and the Browns swarm. Not effective, Eric Wright is burned AGAIN by Anquan Boldin. This is getting ridiculous.
Robaire Smith walks off the field but Michael Oher gets the flag. Score one for the Browns!!
Ugly fight between the two teams, not sure who's getting the flags, probably offsetting.
After sputtering early, the Ravens offense now is gelling and Wright blew coverage again, this time on Mason. Ray Rice is running all over the place and now there's a fight.
Ravens offense is sputtering and Falcco takes a good hit from Fujita. But the Ravens convert on third down. and they're approaching midfield.
Browns commit offsides on the kickoff as we go into the fourth quarter and they get to do it again. I'm just happy the Browns didn't get a penalty for kicking a Ravens loose helmet.
The Steelers are DESTROYING the Bucs. They just ran a fumble back for the touchdown and Charlie Batch looks like John Elway out there. Not good, not good at all for the Browns.
The Browns now are at their own personal best of 17 points. They have the lead, but who cares. We need more points and we can't let the Ravens score again.
Ben Watson with the touchdown, and the TV scoreboard now reads Ravens 14, Browns 4. Hmmmm, now it reads 16. I LOVE this scoreboard.
Cribbs once again proves that good things happen when you give him the ball as he take it all the way to about the four yard line. first and goal!!
Hillis now has 140 yards against the Ravens. This is too good to be true. As it stands right now, the Browns have a legitimate chance to win as long as they don't keep making mistakes.
