Former UFC welterweight champion Matt "The Terror" Serra (11-6) took on Chris "Lights Out" Lytle (29-17-5) in a rematch from "The Ultimate Fighter 4 Finale" where Serra had won a somewhat controversial split decision.
Round 1 saw both men exchange early as Serra worked the body and Lytle would go for power punches.
The difference in Round 1 is that Lytle was able to land more effective striking, but Serra would keep charging forward.
Lytle was able to clip Serra early in Round 2 and rocked Serra on multiple occasions in the round, but Serra never looked discouraged at all.
The end of round two saw more of the same, but still Serra was never off his vertical base.
The third and final round saw Serra attempt leg kicks, but Lytle's punches were able to land almost at will.
Serra was hurt badly by many of Lytle's punches towards the end of the round, but Serra was able to hold on.

The Indianapolis crowd went nuts as their hometown boy Chris Lytle redeemed his loss to Serra.
