Oregon State Vs Boise State: Recap and Analysis

#24 Oregon State 24, #3 Boise State 37 Final

Boise State's offense was too much as they outlasted a respectable attack from the Oregon State Beavers.

Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore passed for 288 yards and three touchdowns, finding favorite targets Titus Young and Austin Pettis nine times for 198 yards. Pettis also threw for a touchdown in the first quarter.

For Oregon State, the concern over a young quarterback proved justified as Katz showed signs of increased performance, but ultimately was unable to make something out of nothing against staunch Broncos pass coverage.

Oregon State receiver James Rodgers exited the game early in the third quarter after suffering a blow to the helmet that temporarily knocked him unconscious. He will be evaluated over the weekend.

Up next for Oregon State will be Arizona State at home, 6:30 pm EST, and they will undoubtedly be unranked for the matchup.

Boise State will be ranked in the AP Top 5 again when the polls come out on Monday, and they will play the New Mexico State Aggies at Aggie Memorial Stadium, 8:00 pm EST.
