Chellsie Memmel Makes Confessions After U.S.A. Wins Silver

Emily ThompsonCorrespondent IAugust 13, 2008

After a few costly mistakes, the USA took silver yet again; this time in the team gymnastics finals. Those mistakes did not come from 20-year old Chellsie Memmel.

After competing on the Uneven Bars, Chellsie received a score of 15.050, helping her team win the silver.

After the competition had completed, Chellsie admitted that she competed with a broken ankle.

What talent and determination she must have had to fight through that pain. This is one girl who is a real team player and looked out for the interests of that team.

Now I just hope she gets healthy and can show the world her domination without an injury.
