The Saints will begin their stretch without running back Reggie Bush Sunday against the Falcons, a stretch that should last at least six weeks after he fractured his fibula in last week’s 25-22 Monday Night win at San Francisco.

Pierre Thomas will carry the load in Bush’s absence, and running back Chris Ivory (knee) has been listed as probable and should get some carries as well.

Also probable are tight end Jeremy Shockey (quadricep) and offensive tackle Zach Strief (knee).

Cornerback Randall Gay will miss the game with a concussion.

Meanwhile, Falcons running back Michael Turner is probable with a groin injury and wide receiver Michael Jenkins is questionable after missing the first two games with a shoulder injury. Jenkins was limited in practice this week, as head coach Mike Smith said he will not rush him back.

Safety Erik Coleman (knee) is also questionable.

The Falcons travel to New Orleans to face the Saints this Sunday at 1 p.m. EDT.
