Bryan McCabe waives NTC, Possibly heading to Florida

Derek HarmsworthSenior Writer IAugust 13, 2008

Nick Kypreos of Rogers Sportsnet is reporting that Bryan McCabe has waived his no trade clause, and in fact could be on his way to the Florida Panthers.

The Panthers are believed to be one of a hand full of teams interested in the Maple Leafs blueliner.

Sources in South Florida say the Panthers are looking for to add McCabe because they don't believe that Jay Bouwmeester will be returning at seasons end.

More on this as it develops.
