Dan Henderson Should Be Fighting Silva
Patrick Cote fighting Silva next is really not a good job on the matchmaking by the UFC.
Dan Henderson has been inactive since losing to Silva in March. Cote has put together a decent run of wins, but I don't think he will be ready for a title shot, and that really means something when he will be in against Anderson Silva.
Silva has not only been winning, but dominating his opposition. Patrick Cote looks like just another victim. I really don't think anyone seriously gives Cote a shot at beating Silva.

UFC 6 Reveals 5-Star Fighter Ratings
In a sport where anything could happen, I am not so sure that people would want to watch the event when it seems as though it will be a cake walk for Silva. Cote could win, but not likely.
It seemed since Okami was injured, they just gave the first fighter riding a win streak a title shot. Well, I think Dan Henderson seems to be the man who has the best chance at beating Silva. Why not have them go again?
Silva and Henderson had a good fight last time. It could have gone either way...up to the devastating knee that changed the fight. Had the knee not been landed like it was, would Silva have been able to get such an advantageous spot over Henderson?
Some say the knee was luck, because of a slip. Others say it was a well-placed knee while Henderson was shooting in for a take down. Whatever the case, we deserve to see Silva fight the best in his weight class before we get bored of him.
I believe that Silva should have to beat Henderson twice for Henderson to be back at the bottom of the card. Instead, he is barely above the may-not-be-broadcast crew on the next lineup.
I do agree that Henderson should have fought one more fight before a title rematch. But now the talk is that once Okami heals he will get the shot, in which case Henderson's match should have been moved up.
I am not going to go out and say I pick Henderson over Silva, or the other way around. I will save that for the prediction column I write, if or when they fight again. All I am saying is shouldn't we watch the champion-fight-champion caliber fighters?
It reminds me of my professional wrestling fanatic days as a kid. Turning on the Saturday morning wrestling show to see the top guys beating on the little guys.
