The Minnesota Vikings wanted to sign Vincent Jackson to help stop the bleeding from losing Sidney Rice for most of the season. The Chargers played hard ball and the Vikings didn't get their man.
So since they couldn't have Jackson they shrugged and signed Hank Baskett who had been recently cut by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Baskett didn't catch any passes for the Eagles but with Rice out and Harvin still suffering from migraines he might be useful to Minnesota.
As of right now Baskett for two things:
For letting Saints PK Garrett Hartley’s onside kick hit off his facemask in the Super Bowl.
And for being married to our WAG of the Week.
Let's celebrate the second one.
