The former West Virginia Mountaineer has agreed to a deal ( terms have not been released) on Tuesday September 21, 2010.
Alexander was the eighth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and played in 59 games in his rookie year averaging 4.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. The former lottery pick played in only eight games and that came after he was traded to Chicago.
The Hornets will use Alexander as a back-up to three different positions (SG,SF,PF). He has All-Star potential and is a very athletic to say the least. He should see a lot of playing time, and could be a very dependable player for the Hornets.
