The Nets should keep Derrick Favors and trade Troy Murphy  in the package deal for Carmelo Anthony. A front line of Derrick Favors, Brook Lopez, and Melo sounds very young, fast, and strong. Murphy is a great shooter in this league but very slow on defense. If the Nets don't build on defense, they will lose in this league. Lopez is another Net's who is weak on blocking the middle. Favors and Anthony are athletic enough to help out Lopez. This three players are young, determine, and hungry. The Nets franchise should look very hard at this for the future. The backcourt with Devin Harris and Anthony Morrow is a keeper for now. The big issue is Murphy a free agent after the season ends. Do the New Jersey Nets keep Favors or Murphy? Time will tell before the season starts.
