Now this has drama and fire works written all over it. i am begining to salivate over it just thinking about it.
let me just say first that i enjoy watching both these fighters very much.
here is a question. what is more entertaining then two men fighting for a title? TWO MEN FIGHTING TO KEEP THEM SELF'S IN THE GAME. now am i saying that if either of these men lost they would be fired no. but both these men need a win desperately. vera is coming off of a win but it was a very lack luster win over a less then spectacular opponent. but his two fights before that were losses which made him drop down to a new weight class.
Jardine has lost his last 2 out of 3 as well but he does have wins over griffin and chuck. so he definitly has potential. but he has proved he can be inconsistent. with looses over huston and wandi. one intresting thing about jardine is. it seems when he wins a big fight the next one he gets over confident and looses. but then after that he learns his lesson.

hence loosing to boneer then wining some fights big win over griffin then loosing to houston. then HUGE win over chuck. getting another big ego boost then getting annihilated by wandi. so if history dictates then he should win over vera.
but vera is no small task for any one. the man is a quick with great stand up and sub skills. jardine has great hands. but a questionable jaw.
so who wins this? for the life of me i don't know. i can see jardine wining via knock out or using his tremendous leg kicks to keep vera away and win a desition. but i can also see vera wining via knock out or catching jardine in a sub.
for jardine the key to victory is LEG KICKS LEG KICKS LEG KICKS. don't get in to a slug fest with vera. stick and move get in there cripple him with leg kicks and try to finish it off with punches. pretty much use your chuck fight game plan. and you will either k-o him or get a dec win.
for vera. he has to get in his face throw punches and head kicks. if you over whelm jardine he may buckle under pressure. then use them to take him to the ground and try to sub him.
if i had to take a guess i would have to go with jardine. why? simply because i feel he is going to be more desperate for a win he may not be all that exciting but a win is a win.
jardine by dec.
but who the hell knows. all i want to see is a good scrap. with the two fighters we should expect nothing less then fireworks shooting off emotions flying high and faces being smashed. well i cant wait. can you?

I like both fighters too and thought they were friends, so this may be a hard fight for them. I think Brandon Vera will win by virtue of his size and ability to submit an opponent. I do think that this is a must win situation for both men. I wouldn't be upset if Jardine won and was never so happy to see someone beat Chuck--that was a beautiful, gutsy fight, I loved it!

oh absolutely. keiths fight with chuck was awesome. i loved every second.
and yeah vera may very well win this fight i really have no idea it was a coin toss really ha ha.
all i care about is seeing a war. and with what is on the line we may very well get that. i cant wait for this fight

I agree that Jardine will certainly be desperate for a win, but Vera will be somewhat desperate to make a better showing than he did in his 205 debut!
I think Vera will be too much for Jardine and I look for Vera to win via TKO in the 2nd or 3rd round, or possibly via decision!!!!
