This is a follow-up to my previous article on the GSP and Jon Fitch fight. First, let me just say that Jon Fitch truly deserves all the credit in the world for his fight against the welter-weight champion. Now let me comment on the fight.
Georges St. Pierre showed dominance in this fight and, even though he could not finish Jon Fitch, he controlled the whole fight for five rounds. Jon Fitch's chin is insane and this guy never quits. Even after taking multiple shots by GSP, he never quit and never got knocked out.
Anyway, my favorite fighter prevailed in his title defense against an extremely worthy and tough competitor and remains the welter-weight champion of the world. His next possible fight seems to be against BJ Penn, which will undoubtedly be a great fight.
