Chelsea make a £78m swoop for AC Milan's Kaka
AC Milan's play maker Kaka look's set to join Chelsea in a world record £78m deal according to reports.
The player who is reportedly not happy at the San Siro since being refused permission to go to the Olympic games is apparently waiting for the two club's to negotiate a deal.
His personal assistant Diogo Kotscho said on Sunday, "We know that the club's are talking about the transfer, although they have not reached a conclusion yet."
"He is waiting for a deal and then he will start to negotiate with Chelsea."
Kaka who is currently under contract with AC Milan until 2012 was voted Fifa's world player of the year in 2007 and would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea.
There have been several new signing's since the arrival of Big Phil at Stamford Bridge in July including Deco and Bosingwa.
Should Kaka join Chelsea, he would be joning an ever increasing Portugese speaking side.
