Having to win their first four games without Ben Roethlisberger behind their #1 draft pick Pouncey, not many people felt the Steelers would be successful or anywhere near the same team that has won two of the past four super bowls.

Who da thunk it???... I'll tell you who...

Steeler fans! That is who. The most die-hard fans in the nation!

To all the nay-sayers out there...yeah you, you know who you are. The ones who were so positive that the Steelers would be mediocre at best. To the people who recently made these claims...

#1- The Steelers are not the same team they use to be. To you, I laugh.

#2- The Steelers will finish 8-8, but more than likely 7-9. To you, I laugh.

#3- Polamalu will not be the same player, or as good as he use to be before his injury. To you, I laugh.

And to all of you who claimed...

The Steelers will not beat Atlanta, Tennessee, or Baltimore and will probably lose to Tampa Bay.

To all of you, I say... think again.

The Steelers are the exact same team they were when they won two of the past four super bowls.

The Steelers are the same team that has dominated Baltimore over the past two seasons with a 4-1 record.

The Steelers defense will be one of the best in the league, just as it has been over the past decade. And that defense will win us an awful lot of games.

Chris who? In his bid for the most consecutive 100 yard rushing games, Johnson finished with just 16 carries for 34 yards to end his streak at 12. Enough said.

And once Roethlisberger does come back and does start, which he will, the Steelers will be one of the best teams in the league.

For all of you who actually feel Ben may ride the bench, even after his suspension is over, wake up. That sound you hear, its reality, its calling and trying to get through to you.

It certainly looks as if us "homers" surely know our football and know what we are talking about, as it is our predictions about how the Steelers will do that have been proven to be right thus far.

So keep up the whining and crying all you want. And keep making excuses as to why and how the Steelers are 2-0 and ahead of both Cincinnati and Baltimore, and how that will soon change.

Keep telling yourselves and others that Ben might not start. And keep telling everyone that even if he does he will not be as good as he use to be... because we heard that same thing about Polamalu, and look at what he has done in his first two weeks back.

But most importantly, keep believing the Steelers are simply a mediocre to average team, as they love the underdog role. And quite frankly, your predictions have been nowhere near right thus far and only serve to fuel the Steelers.

Not to mention, I love the Steelers proving you all wrong.

Here we go, Steelers, here we go. Pittsburgh could very well be going to the super bowl!
