Hey Cheeseheads, 2010 NFL betting action returns to Lambeau Field on Sunday, September 19th when the Packers will defend their home turf for the first time this season against the Buffalo Bills. Week 1 saw different results for the two teams. Buffalo lost their home opener to the Miami Dolphins 15-10 as 3.5-point underdogs, while the Packers went into Philadelphia and survived a late surge from the Eagles winning 27-20 to ultimately cover the three-point spread.

Point Spread: HC Mike McCarthy’s Packers currently sit as 13.5-point chalk with the game ‘total’ set at 43.

QB Trent Edwards continues to prove that he isn’t worthy of being the leader of the Bills offense. Edwards threw for a terrible 139 yards and one TD to earn him a passer rating of 73.0. The three-headed rushing attack of Jackson, Spiller and Lynch was pretty much non-existent accumulating a total of 44 yards. WR Lee Evans led all receivers with four receptions, while Robert Parrish caught the lone TD pass. Drayton Florence led the Bills defense with 10 Tackles while the rest of the defense racked up three sacks.

The Packers open their home schedule after winning a hard fought battle on the road against the Eagles. QB Aaron Rodgers had a mediocre game passing for 188 yards with a TD/INT ratio of 2/2. Defense played a big part in securing the victory for Green Bay. Clay Matthews stopped Michael Vick on 4th and one with just over two minutes to play in the game allowing the Packers to take a couple knees to kill the remainder of the clock. This wasn’t the only big play Matthews made, as he was the co-leader in tackles along with Brandon Chiller with seven, and also had two sacks. WR’s Greg Jennings and Donald Driver each had a TD reception. RB Ryan Grant went down with a torn ligament in his ankle and is done for the season.
