Detroit Lions: New Scouting Directors in the Organization

The Detroit Lions have added two new directors of scouting evaluation, Naveed Carim and Brett Jaksim. Carim and Jaksim attended the University of Michigan and University of Oregon, respectively. Both graduated in the top five percent of their sports management graduating class.
They have created an unique scouting tool, the PANDIAN system, which grades players according to their value to similar pro teams. So far their system has identified Stefan Logan and Nathan Vasher as significant upgrades for the Lions at their respective positions.
Will this new move in the front office be Martin Mayhew's best decision to date? Or will it just drive the Lions further down in the standings? Sound off in the comments below.
