As we edge closer to the kick-off of the EPL, Bleacher writers sound their predictions. This time, I talk with Bleacher's own Salaar Shamsi about the transfer activity and the chances of the champions of England and Europe to retain their English crown.
Are Man Utd ready for the new season?
Despite, the injury issues I do Man Utd are prepared for the new season, Ronaldo's decision and Rooney's recovery is good for the club and with the experience of Giggs, Scholes and Neville with Sir Alex as the manager , United can get out of this tough situation.
What deals would you have liked Man Utd to make?
I think United will be well off signing a new striker, amongst the likes of Berbatov, Huntelaarand Eto'o or Villa or even Martins to strengthen the force because Manucho will be new, Rooneyis often injured, Saha will be leaving and Tevez and Campbell will need backup.
Another centre back won't be a bad addition either, someone like Marchena maybe.
If Park continues to be unfit with the Ronaldo injury, I'd like to think United would need maybe David Silva because Giggs, Nani and Hargreaves might not be enough, having said that ,United don't really NEED to add to their squad right now.
Who do you think is most ready to win the EPL?
I believe from United are favourites but Chelsea and Liverpool are strong contenders as well and let's not forget Arsenal, it's too early to disregard anyone right now.
Are Man Utd going to be able to retain their title?
Who would you like to see at Man Utd?
