Mexico's TV Azteca reporter Ines Sainz was reportedly harassed while at the New York Jets' facility a few days ago.
The NFL is investigating, and several other organizations are also getting involved.
Leave it to the Jets to steal headlines before even starting their season.
Sainz, a former pageant queen contestant turned sports reporter for the Mexican TV network Azteca, is known for stealing the show at media day events.
Here are more details of this developing story.
What apparently started off as a joke seemed to go totally wrong.
Sainz was said to be doing a story on quarterback Mark Sanchez when footballs were thrown in her direction by a Jets' coach during practice, and players later called out to her in the team's locker room.
This was the outfit she twit-pic'd and was said to be wearing during the incident.
The New York Post reported that while Sainz was doing part of her interview, defensive backs coach Dennis Thurman was prodded by his players to purposely overthrow passes to them in interception drills so that the footballs would land next to Sainz on the sidelines.
The Post is also reporting that once All-Pro defensive lineman Jason Taylor and head coach Rex Ryan figured out what was going on, they also joined in the passing drill, intentionally overthrowing receivers in order to have the balls land near Sainz.
Sainz said that she was “bombarded with catcalls and boorish antics” at the Jets' facility.
The Association of Women in Sports Media (AWSM) requested the league look into the incident of behalf of Sainz.
Once things got back to owner Woody Johnson, the Jets issued a statement, saying Johnson spoke to Sainz on Sunday to discuss the incident.
"He stressed to Ines that he expects all members of the Jets' organization to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times," the statement said.

Ines Sainz is a formercontestant who first gained the national spotlight for her sexy outfits during international sports media events.
She usually steals the show at Super Bowl media day with her provocative outfits.
Earlier this year it was reported that Sainz was voted, by the British media, as the sexiest journalist of the World Cup.
In addition to her sideline reporting and interviewing, Sainz has also done some swimsuit modelling.
In the past she has done photo shoots for several magazines, including a Spanish version of Esquire.
Because Sainz is very attractive, the camera tends to find her when she is reporting at a sporting event.
Let's hope this story has a happy ending so she can get back to the sidelines...
