Tim Tebow Passes Brady Quinn

Bryan BrackneyAnalyst ISeptember 12, 2010
Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that the Denver Broncos will use rookie Tim Tebow as their third quarterback instead of veteran Brady Quinn. According to Schefter, Tebow will play, and the Broncos have packages to get him on the field.

It is fitting that Tebow's first NFL action comes against Jacksonville, where he grew up. The Jaguars, obviously, were a team that was rumored to be very interested in drafting him out of Florida.

Tebow completed over 60% of his passes for 344 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the preseason.
Offensive tackle Ryan Harris, cornerback Syd'Quan Thompson, running back Andre Brown, safety Darcel McBath, guard Eric Olsen, offensive tackle Chris Clark and rookie receiver Demaryius Thomas join Quinn (third quarterback) on the inactive list.
