What happened to giants this weekend? Are they all focused on Champions League already?

Enjoy in this quick review of great surprises.

Spain - La Liga

Barcelona vs Hercules  0-2

Valdez 27’, 59’

Barcelona is definitely not the same team without their key man, Xavi who didn't play in first half.

Even when he came in second half nothing changed for Barcelona. Mighty Hercules played great match and they definitely deserved to win this match.

In La Liga they only played two matches so Barcelona fans shouldn't be scared because they are only 1 point behind their biggest rivals, Real Madrid.

England - Premier League

Everton vs Manchester United 3-3

Pienaar 39’, Cahill 90+1’, Arteta 90+2’   /  Fletcher 43’, Vidic 48’, Berbatov 66’

This is was a thrilling finishing from Everton as they scored 2 goals during the injury time.

United keeps loosing points on funny way while Chelsea keeps destroying everybody.

Very big surprise indeed.

Germany - Bundesliga

Bayern Munich vs Werder Bremen 0-0

Everybody expected Bayern winning this match but Werder isn't that easy team to beat.

Bayern have only 4 points in three matches and you can't call this a good start into the season.

France - Ligue 1

Lyon vs Valenciennes 1-1

Pied 27′   /  Bong 69′

What is going on with Lyon? Only 5 points in five matches is a terrible start.

Lyon was a huge favorite for this match but they failed to take all three points and they have to please them self with only one.

Italy - Serie A

Cesena vs Milan  2-0

Bogdani 31’, Giaccherini 44’

We can call this a nightmare debut for Ibrahimovic and Robinho.

Milan definitely needs to do some work on balance in this team.

Cesena did  two great counterattacks and they deserve to win.

Cagliari vs Roma 5-1

Conti 8′, Matri 23′, 47′,  Acquafresca 38′, Lazzari 88′   /   18′ De Rossi

Who thought that Cagliari will score 5 goals to Roma???

Nicolas Burdisso helped Cagliari a lot by receiving an early red card.

What a great victory for Cagliari.

Juventus vs Sampdoria 3-3

Giaccherini 44’, Pepe 50’, Quagliarella 67’   /  Pozzi 36’, 73’, Cassano 64’

Amazing match but Juventus dissapointed us.

Only 1 point from two matches is really poor for somebody who claim to be favorite for Serie A title.

Of course Sampdoria is a great team but Juventus was a clear favorite for this one.

Same as in Milan, they need to work on balance very hard if they want to have good results.
