Alabama Tide Rolls Up a Bunch Of Penn State Nittany JoePa's

Watching this game reminded me a lot of the new Snickers commercials. "You're not you when you're hungry." The Penn State team looked like a bunch of JoePa's and Betty White's getting a solid 'Bama beating. Maybe somebody should've handed the Nittany Lions a few boxes of Snickers Bars...

So much for being ranked 18th. Even though it was 1st ranked Alabama that they lost to, their performance, personally, I think was sub-Top 25. There weren't very many moments in the game where Penn State showed any brilliance, if any at all. Maybe I should have been rooting for the Tide, so Penn State would have won.

Trent Richardson is doing so well, Mark Ingram can take his time recovering. Greg McElroy put up a strong showing as well, completing 66.7% of his passes and throwing no interceptions. Spreading the ball to 6 different receivers shows he has confidence anywhere he throws the ball.

Penn State was only 4 first downs short of Alabama's 21, but with 4 turnovers, it pretty much sealed their fate. Considering the rest of their season schedule, I'm sure they'll work to regain as much ground as they can. Just don't forget to bring the Snickers!

Alabama has their work cut out for them as well, if they plan to go undefeated again. I predict 2010 to be another year of upsets like 2008.
