Ohio University Lineman Wins $250,000

ThomasSenior Writer IAugust 8, 2008

Most college students are the poorest people around, well, except for Mike Eynon of Ohio University.

Mike won $250,000 after buying a Mega Millions ticket from a convenience store in Athens, Ohio, on Tuesday. After taxes, his win will be reduced to $172,500.

Thankfully, he's not allowing his win get to his head.  He's still practicing and getting ready for the start of the season.

Mike, who's majoring in accounting, plans to give some money to his church and family before he invests the rest.

On a more sporty note, Eynon and Ohio will need all the luck they can get when they play against Ohio State on Sept. 6.
