After winning a high school AAU championship and playing for the youth USA National Team, few had a better summer than Winter Park, Florida senior guard, Austin Rivers. Rivers has now risen to the top of the Class  of 2011, and few dispute that he is #1. I had a chance to watch Austin play in the Boost Mobile Elite 24 game, a high school all-star game that showcases players regardless of their high school class. Rivers showed why he is deserving of the ranking. With an array of slashing moves to the basket, Rivers took home MVP honors. This guy is a winner.  He can beat you either off the dribble, drive and kick it out to an open teammate, or can drain the three with a defender's hand in his face. I can't wait to see Rivers play  on the next level, he is definitely somebody to keep an eye on for many more years to come!
