The Nets say good by to broken up Sean May. May broke his left foot in basketball workouts last week and new Nets GM Billy King said recovery time would not provide legit chance to make the team. Nets GM Billy King explained that the team just couldn't wait on the 25-year-old power forward: "The injury has a four-to-eight-week rehab period," King said, "which would not provide Sean a legitmate chance to make our team." Maybe being overweight cause the broken foot to May. Sean May was a big long shot to make the team. Troy Murphy, Kris Humphries, and first round pick Derrick Favors were ahead of May at the four-spot. May sign with the Nets on Aug. 9. May open a spot on the roster for a power forward.
