Brett Favre the Newest Jet

Brett Favre arrived in Green Bay last week expecting to be treated like a king, but the Packers said he will have to compete for the starting position.

When Favre heard this, he did not like this and of course he got mad. The Packers took the smart road and traded him, but that road was not so smart.

The Packers got a fourth round draft pick from the Jets. The Packers got less arguing, but a huge loss from trading one of the best quarterbacks of all time.

On the Jets side of this, they just released Chad Pennington to free up some cap space, maybe to sign Shaun Alexander. If the Jets sign Alexander, they would have a great offence this season, which would help. Their defence, however, will pull them back from winning.

In the end, both teams are still good and we will see how Favre does in New York and how the Packers do with Aaron Rodgers.
