Friendlies no more... ya beauty!
Celtic have played their last friendly which was against EPL side Man City. They tied at Celtic Park 1-1 with Celtic’s only goal came from Paul McGowan. McGowan later had a chance to put Celtic ahead in the twilight stages of the game after my player of the game Paul Caddis played a beautiful cross to McGowan who punted the ball over the bar in style.
Caddis played the majority of the match on the right wing and looked good doing so. With Naka possibly being out, Caddis should get the starting nod on Sunday on the right wing, leaving Barry Robson and Scott Brown in the middle.
While a 1-1 tie against a mid to top level EPL team might be a mixed result for some, not a lot of regular first team players got a lot of playing time.
In the shop window that night were Celtic players Bobo Balde, Thomas Gravensen and Derek Riordan, not only playing, but starting with the hope of off-loading such excess cargo.
The real star of the match were the new electronic ad boards on the sidelines, which looked sharp.
Nothing really else to say besides it is time for real game to begin and with that the serious job of being Scotland's only team in the Champions League, all we need is to master the art of winning away from home, and we would be unbeatable haha and that is no joke...
