The ACC seems to be running strong so far this season—it's no surprise that UNC and Duke are undefeated.

The real surprises come in the forms of Clemson and the Florida schools. Clemson comes into this week ranked No. 17 in the nation. They are undefeated with a schedule that seems to be in their favor until the beginning of January when they face powerhouse UNC at home. Watch out for these guys.

UNC is the favorite to win the ACC this year, and rightfully so. They came in ranked No. 1 in the nation and have a schedule that will allow them to make a run to a National Championship title. The games that will be challenging are the home/away with Clemson and college basketball's biggest rivalry with Duke.

The ACC captured the crown again for the Big 10/ACC Challenge, winning eight out of the 11 games. The only losses came from, GA Tech, VA Tech, and NC State (all on the road).

Virginia lost a close one last night to a very good Syracuse team. It seemed that my Cavs were having a tough time with that zone defense.

No one has ventured into ACC competition yet, so we will wait and see how everyone matches up with their own.

Until next week...
