the super six has been going on for a year now and we are already into the third round. of the  tournament. last year Andre Ward easily beat mikkel kessler to win the WBA super middleweight title.

then Arthur Abraham knocked out Jermain Taylor in stunning fashion ultimately removing Taylor from the tournament.

just a few months ago Carl Froch lost a close decision to Kessler fighting to defend his WBC title. i know styles make fights, but in my honest opinion Ward has the style to beat any boxer on the planet. he proved it in his first two bouts of the tournament. first by out boxing the savvy and slick Kessler  and just a few months ago beating Jermain Taylor's replacement the tough and rugged Allen Green.

in that fight Ward who most thought would dance around the ring and pot shot green all night, used greens strength against him to keep him on the ropes and smother him til he gave up and gave in.

Ward has proved he can fight any style he wants at any point of a fight. when he beat the favorite to  win the tournament Mikkel Kessler most thought well maybe Kessler is spent. Kessler showed in the second round that he is anything but spent.

now with Kessler out of the tournament they are thinking about taking Green out as well and skipping to the semi finals. which means this months fight against Dirrell could eliminate Dirrell. leaving the American who did us all proud at the 2004 summer Olympics the only American fighter left in the tournament.

now i know the October fight with Froch and Abraham is a tough one but i give the edge to Froch.

because Froch has spent his entire pro career at super middleweight where as Abraham has not. i also believe that Froch is the more talented of the two because he boxes more than he fights. also because he doesn't have one punch knockout power like Abraham. who we all know after watching the Dirrell Abraham fight that Abraham can sometimes depend on his power. which leads me to believe we may already has our answer of who the winner of the tournament is, Andre Ward.
