With a unanimous decision by the American captains, Lopez Lomong will career the American flag during the opening ceremonies. Lomong was born in Africa, went to High School in upstate New York, and ran phenomenally. He runs a 1:46 800m race, which is very good.
His first mile run was four minutes flat.
He attends Northern Arizona University, and made the Lumberjacks proud to qualify for the Olympics by running a 3:46.02 1500m. He will be running the 1500m at the Olympics and we are rooting for you Lopez.
