Brett Farve Saga Finished?

Geoff TownsendAnalyst IAugust 6, 2008

The saga surrounding the Green Bay Packers and disgruntled quarterback Brett Favre could be finished, Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported late Wednesday night.

Reports out of Green Bay have Favre packing his bags for New York to start the 2008-2009 season for the New York Jets.

The Packers are rumored to be receiving a future first round draft pick in exchange for Favre. The pick would increase in value depending on how Favre and the Jets do this season.

At 38 years old, Brett Favre has seen success and failure in Green Bay, nut has also seen team management cast him out in the last month.

Perhaps now the sports world can sleep again.
