Carolina Panthers Will Be a Top Fantasy Football Defense in 2010

The next two statements may be hard to believe unless you’ve seen the evidence for yourself.

The Panthers' defensive line is vastly superior to last year’s, even after losing DE Julius Peppers to Chicago in free agency.

And even though Thomas Davis has already landed on injured reserve, Carolina has simply reloaded at linebacker and won’t lose much without him.

Out of all the apparent chaos in Charlotte, the team has managed to put together a front seven that will save John Fox’s job and could help you win some fantasy hardware of your own.

 

It’s not just that the Carolina pass rush has produced 18 sacks in three preseason games. These guys have been rampaging into opponents’ backfields with impunity. These aren’t just any opponents either—Tennessee, Baltimore and the New York Jets all rank among the best offensive lines in the league...
