Washington Redskins: QB John Beck Signs Contract Extension

According to the Associated Press, Redskins Quarterback John Beck was signed to a 3 year contract extension worth $ 3.35 million dollars. Beck has been locked in a battle with 3rd year player Richard Bartel for the 3rd string QB job since August 2nd when the Redskins acquired him from the Ravens.

My Opinion: My money was really on Richard Bartel to win the job. But I guess Bartel will be cut when the roster goes from 75 men down to 53 men on Saturday.
