Look like the Knicks move out in first place in the Melo sweepstakes. A report based on strong information that Melo will not sign an extension with any other team than the Knicks. Anthony is confident that he'll get paid CBA or not. This seems to be Melo stance at this point in time. The Denver Nuggets are in tough situation with Anthony being a free-agent after this coming season. Melo is the face of the Denver Nuggets franchise. He is the man that sells the tickets. He is the player that people come to see. The Nuggets have a new GM now so he must show face. If Anthony is on the teamat the start of training camp, all the focus and stories will involve him likely leaving the Nuggets. The Knicks should just lay back and wait it out. None of this hurts the Knicks, and it may just help them.
