Ryan O'Halloran of CSN Washington is reporting the Washington Redskins wide receiver Malcolm Kelly will be placed on injured reserves (IR) instead of being cut.

That must mean in the limited practice during OTAs and training camp, as well as game film from the past two seasons, Coach Mike Shanahan must have seen somethings that he liked about Kelly.

I'm glad to see the Redskins hold onto Kelly.  I think he has a lot of potential if he can just get himself on the field and stay there.
