Jets Waive Quarterback Kevin O'Connell; Kellen Clemens Takes Pay Cut To Stay!

 The Jets waived quarterback Kevin O'Connell, the Jets announced today. Kevin O'Connell a former Patriots, was the fourth quarterback on the roster behind Mark Sanchez, Mark Brunell  and Kellen Clements. On Monday, coach Rex Ryan sais Clements had a "pretty great chance" of making the team. Kellen Clemens solidified his spot on the roster by taking a pay cut, signing a one-year deal for less more money than the $1.176-million tender he signed this offseason. Clemens play much better than Brunell during the preseason. QB Erik Ainge is on the reserse/did not report list, after entering a drug rehab and treatment facility. Clements could end up the back-up QB for the Jets.
