Game Recap

August 06, 2008

MLB, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Mets, Sports Betting, Huston Street (Oakland Athletics), Game Recap, Aaron Heilman

Wow! I am left speechless. All I can say is WOW! I thought I was going to have the 3-0 night that i needed to get back to respectability and then it happened. First it was with the A's. They were leading 3-2 going into the bottom of the ninth and bringing in there closer. I felt pretty good at this point seeing how my underdog team had the lead and they were bringing in one of the better closers in the game. Boy was I wrong! Street blows the lead and the game and I take the loss. After that debacle I flip over to the Mets/Pads game to watch my Mets RL bet finish up. Mets are up 6-2 in the top of the 9th with Aaron Heilman on the bump. Im feeling good because he can give up 2 runs and I will still be a winner. Well don't you know he serves up a 3-run shot to JODY GERUT!!! Yes read that again, JODY GERUT!! I could not believe it, I almost threw the remote through the 50 inch plasma!! Tampa Bay did it's job and handled the Indians but I am still left with a sour taste in my mouth from those other two bad beats.

Last Night 1-2 (-1 unit)

YTD 3-6 (-3.4 units)
