Right Wingers : Who Is The Best In The Premier League?

Salaar ShamsiAug 5, 2008

After the first four editions of "Who Is The Best Of The Premier League" which were based on Central Midfielders, Strikers , Defensive Midfielders and the last one on Left Wingers.

I decided to continue the trend which has created an amazing debate within the community.

Finally, we move systematically over to Right Wingers, and Cristiano Ronaldo might win this hands down, but we are going to do it anyway.

I'm picking some contenders, then the readers will hopefully pick the best out of them and in the process we will create another healthy debate, so here goes..

Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United-Portugal)

Forget his diving controversy and his whole transfer saga involving Real Madrid, Ronaldo is a fantastic player, he is a very talented player and he proved it last season.

An amazing mix of trickery, pace and shooting ability, Ronaldo darted 43 goals for United last season.

Is he the Best?

David Bentley (Tottenham Hotspur-England)

Bentley, the next Beckham? Well, he's the man of the moment after completing his record breaking move to Spurs.

He was a revelation at Blackburn, scoring and creating goals comes naturally to him. He's probably one of the few serious threats to Ronaldo here.

Is he the Best?

James Milner (Newcastle United-England)

The word "underrated" defines James Milner, he is an absolutely brilliant player, he scores often but has become a dominant force at Newcastle United.

At a time he was linked with a move to Manchester United, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.

Milner has been consistent for both England U21's and Newcastle.

Is he the Best?

I'll keep it to three for now, please don't give me "Oh God he missed Wright Phillips, Lennon, Eboue, Walcott, Ireland, Agbonlahor, Davies, Valencia, Pennant or Ljungberg", if you think they deserve your vote then vote for them!

I'm thinking Ronaldo will win this one but anyway let's complete this formality.

Remember, we will only be talking about right wingers so don't expect Lampard, Berbatov or Fabregas to pop out of nowhere.

Who do you think is the best right winger winger in the Premier League on "overall ability" more than current form, and he doesn't have to be from these three?
