It is well known that Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini is an admirer of Dzeko.

There are were serious conversations between City and Liverpool about Fernando Torres, which ended in a stalemate, but we're given as much time as possible to come to a conclusion.

With the transfer window about to close, City have decided that it is time to move back in for Dzeko.

According to rumours on a number of forums and within football, there could well be a last-minute, cash bid for the Wolfsburg player and City may well not take no for an answer.

Dzeko still harbours some ill-feeling after his dream move to Italy was blocked, and the price put on his head meant that no Italian club could afford his services in any case.

So will he say yes to City?

It's now about 80/20 in favour of a yes.
