I really highly doubt the Cubs will win the World Series this year.
After watching how they have been playing, they have just been getting by, especially when there have been a lot of teams that have been really winning. Look at the Angels, they have just been smashing teams with their ridiculous offense. The Angels have just been truly winning. The Cubs on the other hand, haven't really won a game since the first of the four-game set in the Milwaukee series last week. Every game they have won since has really just been the other team's loss.
By September, the Cardinals will be in first and the Cubs will be in a race with Milwaukee for second, but will be in 3rd or 4th behind the Mets and Marlins for the Wild Card.
