    Summer transfers of 2010 didn't have so many spectacular transfers like last summer when Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer from Manchester United to Real Madrid broke all the records. Real Madrid payed 94 million €. Also, transfers of Kaka (Milan-Real Madrid) and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter-Barcelona) had big money behind this crazy transfers.


    This summer of 2010 had some really exciting transfers but not as good as last year when Real Madrid spended so much millions on new players and guess how many trophies did they won? None, they were again in the shadow of Barcelona.



    Here is my list of top 20 transfers of summer 2010.

20. Hernanes (Sao Paulo-Lazio)

    The highly rated midfielder was expected to join one of Serie A's top dogs with Juventus, Milan and Inter fighting over his signature at one stage.


    But it was Lazio who were the most willing to dish out the €10m to secure his services.


    Hernanes will be one of the key players for Lazio in upcoming season.

19. Raul (Real Madrid-Schalke)

    One of the biggest surprises this summer.


    Everybody expected to see Raul in Real Madrid forever just like Maldini was in AC Milan.


    Schalke took him as a free agent.


    They did a great job.

    'Chicharito' makes the jump from Mexico to England with the Red Devils.


    Manchester paid 9.7 million € for his services.


    Hernandez is definitely one for the future.

    Very good buy from Arsenal.


    The best is that he came as a free player from Bordeaux.


    He will give a lot in attack.

16. Adriano Correia (Sevilla-Barcelona)

    Barcelona did great job when they bought this left footed Brazilian.


    Adriano was doing great in Sevilla and now is the time to go one step forward in his career.


    Barcelona paid 9.5 million € for him.

14. Adriano (Flamengo-Roma)

    This time he will play for Roma.


    After great season in Flamengo he decided to come back and try new adventure in Roma.

    This was one of the craziest transfer saga's this summer.


    After long talks, Chelsea finally got this great player.


    They paid 22 million € for his services.

    Very good Serbian player had great seasons with Cska Moscow.


    Juventus was looking at him for long time and finally decided to make a move.


    They paid 14 million € for him.

11. Sami Khedira (Stuttgart-Real Madrid)

    Khedira had attracted the interest of Real Madrid with his excellent performances for Germany at the 2010 World Cup.


    They signed him for 14 million € from Bundesliga club, Stuttgart.


    Khedira is very good signing for Real Madrid.

    The England winger will have something to prove his unceremonious departure from Stamford Bridge.


    Chelsea's discarded trash could prove to be Liverpool's treasure.


    Liverpool did great job when they took him because he came as a free player.

    One of the biggest star of the latest World Cup in South Africa moved to Real Madrid.


    Ozil could've left Werder for free next year but Real Madrid were in no mood to battle with their rivals across the Europe.


    Real Madrid payed 14 million € for this amazing midfielder.

7. Simon Kjaer (Palermo-Wolfsburg)

    This highly rated Danish defender was one of the biggest surprise in this transfer window.


    It was expected that Kjaer will move to Manchester United,Milan or Liverpool but he moved to Wolfsburg.


    Wolfsburg paid 14 million € for this great  young defender.

    After Villa came to Barcelona, they signed Yaya Toure's replacement.


    His name is Javier Mascherano. He is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.


    Barcelona agreed to pay 21 million € for him.


    It's for sure that Barcelona's chances for winning La Liga again and maybe Champions League have improved greatly after this transfer.

5. Yaya Toure (Barcelona-Manchester City)

    Yaya will team up with brother Kolo on the defensive side for the Citizens.


    Manchester City gave 29 million € for this great defensive midfielder.


    It will be interesting to see this group of stars on the field.

    This great winger surprisingly moved to Manchester City for 30.2 million €.


    He is very dangerous player that can do a lot with the ball.


    Manchester City got great player in Silva.

3. Mario Balotelli (Inter-Manchester City)

    Manchester City is trying to create the best team in the world.


    Because of that, they signed this amazing talent, Mario Balotelli.


    Balotelli is a problematic player and Mancini will have to work hard to keep him from troubles.


    Inter earned 30 million € which is a really good sum.


    Manchester City keep spending their money but I have to tell them: "It's not all about the money"

2. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Barcelona-Milan)

    AC Milan did awesome job by signing Ibrahimovic from Barcelona on loan deal with the right to an option to buy him for the sum of 24 million € after the 2010/2011 season.


    Galliani proved to be an excelent negotiator because he drop Barcelona's price tag from 70 to 24 million €.


    AC Milan will have amazing attacking trio in  Ronaldinho - Pato - Ibrahimovic.


    Also, Milan chances have improved greatly for winning Serie A finally after many years.

    Barcelona paid 40 million € for this great striker.


    This move is the highest transfer of summer 2010.


    Villa will add more firepower to an already explosive Barcelona attack.


    He will fit great in Barcelona system.


    After winning the World Cup in South Africa and having a big impact in the team, Villa is ready to win trophies with Barcelona.
