The third preseason is a last call for the starters to get sharp before the regular season starts, and also a chance for a man to make the 53 man roster. Here are 5 players that have to make their case until Thursday, September 3rd vs Cleveland to justify having them on the 53 man roster.

5: Pisa Tinoisamoa/Nick Roach

After signing Tinoisamoa last off season from the St. Louis Rams, injuries prevented Pisa from playing in 14 games last year. He has not done enough to win the starting job, with Nick Roach providing competition.

4: Garrett Wolfe

Wolfe, from Northern Illinois, was considered a mistake pick by many in the third round of the 2007 draft. Since the emergence of Kahilil Bell as the number three option at running back, Wolfe has not done anything to surpass him. Wolfe may be playing his last two games as Bear this preseason.

3: Juaquin Iglesias

A third round pick from Oklahoma in 2009, Iglesias has done little to impress coaching staff the last two years. He is still under Earl Bennett in the depth chart, even though Bennett missed all of training camp and the preseason. Rashied Davis, Devin Aromashodu, and Johnny Knox, have emerged over him. He has shown no interest in playing, and hopefully is finished with the Bears after Thursday.

2: Eddie Williams/ Will Ta'ufo'ou

Both are backup H backs behind vetran Desmond Clark on the Bears depth chart. Neither have done well enough to pass him or justify a roster spot this year. Thursday is their last chance to make an impression. Both spent more time on the practice squad than a 53 man roster.

1: Hunter Hillenmeyer/Brian Urlacher

The only reason I even put Urlacher on this list, is because he missed 15 games last season, and Hillenmeyer had to replace him. He is not the field captain Urlacher, but did more than servicable job last year with 100+ tackles. Hillenmeyer will have to keep that level of play up to convince the Bears not to sign another middle linebacker.
