It appears the University of North Carolina Tarheel football program might have an even bigger mess on their hands.

Reports are vague, but it appears that UNC could be facing additional trouble for investigations into alleged academic infractions.

Joe Schad with ESPN has tweeted that a possible nine UNC players, including some standouts, could be involved and have been reassigned to the practice squad.

Rumors are that there have been problems with cheating among football players and tutors.

UNC has a press conference scheduled at 7:30 with chancellor Holden Thorp, athletic director Dick Baddour, and football coach Butch Davis all attending.
