I do not live in Wisconsin, but I am from Mississippi and I have been a Green Bay fan all my life as my father and grandmother were from Green Bay. I know that Favre is now and was always devoted to the Packers.
I hate all the media spin and comments because this thing is a lot simpler than what the media and the Green Bay front office make it out to be. I mean, here is a guy that really turned everything around for the Packers and they just would rather him go away. Let's get one thing straight: if Favre plays for another team this year, it is because the Packers traded him, not because he wanted to play somewhere else.
After 16 years and 253 (275 including playoffs) straight starts for a team...
Imagine working for a company for 16 years and they treat you like they have treated him...
Shame on you Green Bay...
Shame on you Mike McCarthy...
Shame on you Ted Thompson...
What really sums it up is a sign I saw a lady holding up at practice the other day:
"Mike McCarthy and Ted Thompson
For $20 million will you go away!?!"
