Fantasy Baseball Week 22 Start/Sit
It's now Week 22 of the Fantasy Baseball season, and the playoffs are just around the corner!
Fantasy owners around the country are still making final modifications to their weekly lineups, so what better place to look than the weekly Start/Sit? Let's see who we have in store.
Starting Pitcher to Start
It is without a doubt that you will see two Cincinnati Reds starters in this week’s “Starts” section of the column. Let’s begin with youngster Travis Wood.
Wood, who is 4-1 with a 2.51 ERA and 46 Ks, has earned his way back into the Reds’ rotation after being optioned down to Triple-A earlier in the month. The Reds wanted to limit rookie Mike Leake’s innings count in 2010, meaning that both Wood and former top prospect Homer Bailey have found their way into the rotation (yes, I just told you who else will be on this list).
Because Wood has been so effective thus far (four wins in nine starts), be sure to place him in your starting rotation when you get the chance. He’s a reliable mixed leagues option, something that can be hard to come by this late in the year...
