Prince Fielder Sounds Off on Altercation (humor)
Cincinnati, Ohio: A dugout altercation between Milwaukee Brewers Prince Fielder and Manny Parra has left many observers wondering whether or not the Brewers are able to handle the pressure of a pennant race.
It also begs the question: what exactly did Parra do or say to Fielder? Bleacher Report was at the post-game press conference to uncover the truth.
Bleacher Report: Was it frustration? After all, you've lost 10 of 14, and you're only a half game ahead of the Cardinals. And tomorrow, you have to face Edinson Volquez. The Brewers are in danger of falling out of contention in August, just like last year.
Prince Fielder: No way, if Volquez strikes me out, I'll charge the mound and beat him up too. This team has too much maturity to do childish things like give up already when we're still in it.
BR: So what did happen? Did Parra insult you? Did he say you'll never be as good as Cecil? Did he say bad things about your family?
PF: If he would've insulted my family, I would've head-butted him. It's not that at all.
BR: So what was it then?
PF: Man, he just wouldn't shut up about Brett Favre! I mean really, who cares? We're playing real baseball here, not some exhibition. Could Brett Favre even swing a bat? Could Brett Favre...Wait where is everyone?
BR: They're all out covering where Favre is eating dinner tonight.
PF: NO!!!! You're lucky this is on TV, or else I'd...
