New Fantasy Football Strategy: Avoid Running Back By Committee

What is running back by commitee? How will this impact your fantasy football team? Why should I go against my successful, championship strategy? Every time I get two top runningbacks, it is over. I win.

I hate to break it to you, but you won't win this time if you fail to change your strategy and mindset this year.

More teams are relying on the passing attack. That means most running backs will be unreliable for you this year.

Running back by commitee means that running backs are sharing the football. They are used on different downs and scoring situations.

Chris Johnson, Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ray Rice, Micheal Turner, and Frank Gore along with a few others can still be reliable. However, don't get running backs back to back because your opponents will blast you back to the past. The strategy of acquiring back to back running backs is outdated.

If you have the seventh overall pick or later, you are better off going for a QB.
