With only two quarterbacks available for practice, Buccaneers General Manager Mark Dominik is looking for another signal caller.
He needs someone familiar with the system.
Is Jevan Snead possibly returning to Tampa Bay?
Common sense would point to that. With two exhibition games left, the Bucs need another arm in camp and Snead would be the obvious pick. Some have called for a veteran quarterback but who exactly is available?
Go down the list and it's not impressive.
Jeff Garcia? He's with the Omaha Nighthawks, good place for him.
Daunte Culpepper? Oh come on now.
Snead? Makes sense, wouldn't be a surprise if he's in camp this week.
If nothing else, it would be good to see him in a couple of exhibition games and perhaps, just perhaps, if he can show something, there would be a spot for him on the practice squad.
Hey, Jon Gruden collected quarterbacks.
