Where It All Began: Beer Money Vs. Motor City Machine Guns
NOTE: This article is focused around the final match between the Motor City Machine Guns and Beer Money apart of their 5-match series that concluded at the Whole F'N Show on August 12, 2010. Sorry for the delay, I've just been busy lately.
Two years ago I began watching World Wrestling Entertainment. I soon became a huge wrestling fan, and I expanded out to TNA Wrestling.
It took some time to adjust, but I soon grew to like it and watch it weekly to this day. But the point behind this? The first match I saw was on that August night when Beer Money faced the Motor City Machine Guns.
Fast forward two years later and you find yourself in the middle of a five-series tournament, which probably the best tag team matches I've ever seen. These two teams did it all, and out bested all the other matches they have contested.
Both WWE and TNA are in desperate need of tag division help, and this raised the bar. TNA's division is better, with teams like Team 3D, Generation Me, and Ink Inc, but their last match had me standing and screaming, with falls and kick outs like I've never imagined.
Both teams have a lot of ability and chemistry in the ring, and it was great to finally push MCMG towards the World Tag Team Championships.
I just find it very ironic that my dedication to TNA started with these two teams, and now two years later (it's not ending) I see a rematch that exceeded every ones expectations. I hope to see more from both teams in Fortune and future tag title matches.
